What is Generation Obama?
Generation Obama (”GO”) is a locally-based but nationally coordinated grassroots movement led by young activists with the simple goal of electing Barack Obama as the next President of the United States of America through fieldwork, political organizing, and fundraising.

This Week…
Generation Obama wants to focus everyone’s attention to a single goal – doing whatever we can to win Pennsylvania (there will be no distractions, not even in this newsletter, which is why it’s so short!).
Many of us, as well as other Obama supporters, have been working extremely hard by canvassing on the ground in Pennsylvania and making calls to Pennsylvania Democrats. Momentum is building, and what was once a state thought to be a sure thing for Sen. Clinton is now a state which either candidate can win.
It is up to us to do what we can to win this crucial state on April 22nd. We have two weeks left – please read on to see how you can help.

Getting Involved…
In Pennsylvania: The Pennsylvania primary is quickly approaching. The campaign inroads currently being achieved are due in large part to the countless support of dedicated volunteers. Listed are some ways you can get involved:
1) Travel to PA: Continue to reach out to NY GO’s on-the-ground action coordinator, Steven Newmark. He is ready to assist in getting you setup! All you have to do is email snewmark@gmail.com.
If you’re in New York this weekend and looking for a ride to PA be sure to reach out to Steven before the end of the week.

2) From Home: Supporting the cause doesn’t have to take a lot of time or energy. You can make calls to voters in PA from home between 9am-9pm EST.
